Top benefits of Typeform
Shortly after using Typeform for the first time over 5 years ago, I realized that this tool is lightyears ahead of its competitors in terms of design, user experience, and features.
Here are some of the top benefits of using Typeform:

Typeform Key Features
I have already mentioned some of my favorite features, but now let’s take a deeper look at them, and also let me show you some screenshots.
Here are some of the key features that make Typeform stand out from other form builders:
Unlimited Forms and Questions
With Typeform, you can create an unlimited number of forms and questions, which is excellent for businesses that need to collect a lot of data or feedback.

Calculator tool
This is a handy tool for businesses that need to collect data that require calculations, such as quotes or estimates.
File Uploads
The file upload feature allows your respondents to upload files, such as images or documents, to your form. For example, I’ve used it to request potential clients or partners submit their resumes, requirements, or other information I should evaluate before our first call.
Webhooks
Webhooks allow you to send data from your form to an external URL. Use this feature if your business needs to integrate forms with other business tools, such as Salesforce or Zapier.

This feature allows you to collect payments via your form. For instance, I’ve used it to collect fees or donations from clients and supporters.

My Personal Experience Using Typeform

I started using Typeform to create surveys and contact forms back in 2015. So, I’ll be able to share with you what I like and what I don’t like about it.
Before I share what I like and dislike about Typeform, remember that you should learn the proven steps to manage customer feedback effectively. The strategy in place to manage feedback is as important as the software you choose to do so.
First, let’s start with the things I like:
- Typeform gives you three options to create a new form:
- Start from scratch.
- Use a template or import your questions.
- Create it for me.
Typeform has a simple user interface and doesn’t require any coding skills.
It’s mobile-friendly.
It offers 500+ integrations through Zapier.
Typeforms are beautiful and have a clean, minimalist design.
Typeform tells you where (which question) people abandon your Typeform (available in the Business plan).
It integrates well with two of my favorite sales management software: Pipedrive and HubSpot.
You can schedule a close date and customize the closed message (paid plans).
And now, here are the things I don’t like:
The paid plans are a bit pricey but cheaper than SurveyMonkey.
Questions with multiple fields for mailing addresses are not an option.
File uploads are only available on paid plans.
Typeform doesn’t offer a live chat support option unless you have a Business or Enterprise plan.
Typeform Alternatives
I’ve used many Typeform alternatives. Here is the list of the most popular ones:
SurveyMonkey: This survey tool offers a variety of features similar to Typeform and offers a free plan with minimal functionality and paid team, individual, and enterprise plans.
Google Forms: This completely free online form creator helps you analyze results quickly, so you can start making better business decisions.
JotForm: Online survey builder that helps you create beautiful, mobile-responsive forms that are easy to fill out and include powerful features like conditional logic, payment integrations, report generation, and workflow automation.
Zoho Forms: Simplify data collection with beautiful online forms and manage data gathered efficiently with hundreds of integrations.
123FormBuilder: Choose one of the 2000+ templates or start one from scratch to gather data for almost any use case.
Frequently Asked Questions
How Good Is Typeform?
Typeform is a premium form builder that makes data gathering straightforward and fun, one question at a time. It helps you create very engaging surveys, increasing the likelihood of achieving a higher form completion rate.
Survey creators want mainly five things from survey tools:
An excellent user interface that will make collecting data easy.
Beautiful and interactive forms.
Data is gathered and stored securely.
Logic jumps based on people’s answers or hidden fields’ values.
Great customer support.
With Typeform, you can get almost everything except customer support unless you have a Business or Enterprise plan. So, I rate Typeform as one of the best premium survey tools on the market.
When it comes to lead conversion, even famous companies have good things to say about Typeform. For instance, Volvo Cars states that Typeform offers better converting forms and that leads from Typeform were over 200% more likely to convert than leads from other form tools.
So, I’d highly recommend trying Typeform to see if it’s the right tool for your business.
Is Typeform secure?
Typeform is dedicated to protecting customer data and ensuring its security. They have built their services with this idea in mind. Customers should have peace of mind because the data collected is encrypted, and the platform is hosted on Amazon Web Services, which has achieved SOC2 and ISO27001 certifications.
Which Is Better Google Form or Typeform?
Both Google Forms and Typeform are great tools for creating online surveys, but they each have strengths and weaknesses.
Google Forms is a free service that is easy to use and integrates well with other Google products.
However, creating complex questions can be challenging, and the forms’ overall design is relatively basic.
Typeform, on the other hand, offers a more user-friendly interface and allows for more customization.
It also has a paid subscription option that gives you access to additional features, such as logic jumps and file uploads, which are a must for me.
So, which one is better? That depends on your needs.
Google Forms is a good choice if you’re looking for an effortless way to create a survey.
Why would you choose Typeform over Google Forms? Mainly for two reasons:
If you need more control over the design and layout of your survey.
If you want to add more complex question types and more customization.
Typeform Review Conclusion
So, what’s the bottom line? Is Typeform the best form builder software on the market?
In my opinion, yes. Typeform is the best form builder software on the market in 2022.
It’s easy to use, offers a wide range of features, is mobile-responsive, and integrates with a variety of popular business tools. Plus, it’s beautiful and has a clean, engaging design.
But I should remind you of the things I mentioned above that I don’t like about Typeform. Scroll up to read about them.
These things I don’t like will mostly apply to you if you want to customize your survey to a very high degree, or if you want to use Typeform for more complex purposes, such as data collection for research.
But overall, I highly recommend Typeform as the best form builder software on the market in 2022.
